Fri, Jul 13: Tokyo

On our second day of sightseeing
we took a tour of Meiji Shrine, built to honor the emperor Meiji.  We needed to purify our hands and mouth before going into the complex.

On the way to the Imperial Palace,

the Imperial Palace (you can not go inside),

and the Asakusa Kannon Temple.

Then Mary walked around the area near the temple,

which had several stores that sold to restaurants, as well as other kitchen stores.

Josh and Paul went to the Electric Town, where there were lots of electronics stores.

We all later went to Ginza shopping district where there were a lot of high end stores.
